Vixen # 35523 Tripod M-155MA with Polar Wedge for Polarie
This tripod is the ideal base for the Star Tracker Polarie by Vixen. It weighs only 1.8 kg and has a transport length of 48 cm, small enough to count as luggage. This four-stage tripod can adjusted from 470 mm to 1550 mm height.The Vixen ballhead QHD-33 with a 1/4" photo thread connection at the top is also included. The Vixen Polarie Star Tracker attaches directly to this thread. The polar wedge allows for precise polar alignment of the star tracker. You can use the Polarie from 0°(equator) to 85° northern and southern latitude, effectively almost anywhere on the planet. Thanks to the finetuning mechanism you can easily accomplish precise Polar alignment, which is foundational for long exposed astro images with round stars.
