This adaptor allows connection of 2" accessories to telescopes with male 2" SC thread.

-- Schmidt-Cassegrain telescopes (Celestron, Meade...)
-- Maksutov telescopes by Intes, Intes Micro

The adaptor is simply screwed on the male SC thread. The accessories are held solidly by a brass ring without screw-marks and tilting.

Advantages of a direct 2" connection:

- Maximum field of view. Diagonals with SC thread often cause vignetting due to their smaller free aperture.
- Straight-through observing without diagonal mirror is possible.
- 2" is very versatile. Beneath 1.25", 2" is one of the most common connection terminals.
