13.8V Regulated Power Supply with Cigarette Lighter Socket

The power supply is protected by a sturdy metal casing. It can be plugged into a regular 230V power socket and provides a stabilized current of 13.8V DC with 3 Amps.

You can use our 12V cigarette lighter cable to connect it to most astronomical mounts.

In addition to the cigarette lighter socket there is also a pair of 4mm banana sockets, for example to be used with a Boxdoerfer Powerflex controller.

Recommended use:

Most GoTo telescopes have either no stationary power supply at all or an undersized one with 1.2 Amps or less. This 13.8V power supply is the ideal replacement. It will work even at low temperatures and at a high drain.

Nominally most astronomical controllers are made for 12V. Experience shows that they do work also with 13.8V - this is practive proven by hundreds of customers, however we recommend to ask the manufacturer of the controller in case of doubt!
