Astrolumina Alccd-QHY 163 - cooled CMOS Monochrome Camera, USB3.0
This camera offers you a sensor with a diagonal of 22 mm, it is not only suitable for deep-sky imaging, but also for meteors and even sun, moon and planets.
Reduced dark current due to Peltier cooling, large diagonal - a fine deep-sky camera High frame rate when used at reduced resolution, so also suitable for sun, moon and planets Can be used as meteor camera Only 450 g will not put much load on your telescope Additional power supply (12 V DC) necessary The last image shows the difference between FSI and BSI.

Astrolumina Alccd-QHY 163 - monochrome CMOS Camera with Cooling and enhanced frame rate
The ALccd-QHY 163 camera offers you a large sensor with a diagonal of 22 mm and universal 3.8 μm large pixels.
The camera is very compact, which takes effect especially for smaller, portable telescopes, but a small camera is also beneficial when used in special technical assemblies.
Sensor and shutter
In the model ALccd-QHY 163, quality and very sensitive FSI sensors are installed.
The sensor does not require a mechanical shutter, it operates electronically. The model ALccd-QHY 163 equipped with a "rolling shutter" which has no disadvantage in deep sky photography. Even in high-speed meteor photography no artifacts through shutter can be recognized.
The housing
The sensor chamber of the cooled ALccd-QHY camera 163 is sealed and is heated with a special heating. Thus, fogging is counteracted, particularly in application areas with high humidity.
The electronics
The integrated DDRII cache of ALccd-QHY cameras 163 has a memory size of 128 MB and ensures that no image will be lost when downloading. It is also the prerequisite for even in low-performance PCs and USB2.0 to have no loss of picture or to download an image at all.
The ALccd-QHY 163 camera is also available as color version.
System requirements
The camera has an advanced electronics that makes a PC with USB 2.0 support necessary. The maximum performance can be reached only with a powerful USB 3.0 computer.
Included is the original recording software "EZCAP".
The operating software is Windows 7, 8 and 10 compatible and supported by 32- and 64-bit.
In addition, we recommend the ASCOM compatible software packages MSB AstroArt or MaxIm DL.
Note
The ALccd-QHY cameras 163 require an external power supply with 12 V and min. 3 A.
The power consumption is up to 27 W (100% cooling) with minimum at 8 W (cooling off).
