USB_Focus adapter set for TS and GSO 2" focuser

This adapter set includes the holder and the motor housing as well as all installation screws. It also comes with the motor coupling to the focus shaft.

TS/GSO 2" Crayford focuser

[Note:*] For the refractor versions of the Crayford and Monorail focusers, mounting is only possible with a loss of the rotation capability, since the grub screws on the dovetail ring of the focuser can not be tightened after mounting the adapter and must therefore be tightened in advance. The MonorailR96, MonorailR86 and TSFOCR2M focusers are affected.

Mounting instructions:

Remove the focuser knob facing the 1:10 gear (loosen the grub screw).

Slide the milled aluminum ring over the housing of the focuser from the telescope side, so that the chamfered side of the hole faces the telescope

If necessary, turn the angle bracket on the motor housing by 180° so that it points with the angle towards the telescope as shown in the illustration.

Fasten the angle bracket to the aluminum ring with the hexagon socket head screw provided.

Attach the flexible shaft coupling to the focusing shaft through the motor housing, aligning the aluminum ring so that it is centered in the opening of the housing.

Attach the motor in the housing and to the coupling, feed the cable through the cutout

Attach the cover to the housing

If necessary, align the aluminum ring and mounting bracket so that the focusing shaft and motor shaft are aligned.
