Baader 200 mm (8") Dovetail Saddle Plate for Super Polaris Mount

This plate makes your Vixen Super Polaris suitable for sliding bars (dovetail bars) from Astro Physics.

The mounts from AP are great, but they are expensive and not lightweight. When traveling, less weight is possible if a smaller refractor is used - simply use your old Super Polaris mount. But these mounts don´t have a saddle plate, and if they have one, it is for Vixen dovetail bars, not for the sliding bars AP style.

With the dovetail saddle plate BA1401178, you can prepare the SP for accepting telescopes from Astro Physics. Suitable are sliding bars SB0550, SB0800 and SB1000, and, of course, telescopes equipped with one of them.
