The Kalahari Bean Bag

This bean bag "tripod" is the ideal utility if no photo tripod is at hand. It serves as soft camera support and protects against blurred photographs at longer exposure times. The bean bag replaces a photo tripod on hikes, safaris and everywhere where a photo tripod is simply too heavy. It can also be used as storage container for accessories.

The robust, waterproof and nonskid plastic underside with leather structure is washable, the soft, suede-like fabric on the upside protects the camera. The inner surface is covered with the typical Kalahari nylon liner, the zipper retains the filling reliably.

A number of things can be used as filling. Particularly well suited are boil-in-the-bag rice or cooling pads, but also beans, lentils or small stones collected on the way. Filled this way, the bag is perfectly suited as shake-free camera support on rocks, a wall, the windowsill, a car window, etc.

By the four velcro straps, it can also attached to a limb, handrail or fence. If the bag is used as shake-free support for cameras with long telephoto lenses, it can directly attached to the lens by the velcro straps, too.

The bag also has a velcro strap at the side with which it can be used as divider in photo bags or photo backpacks, of course unfilled and folded.

With its size of 260x210x20 mm (depending on filling), the Kalahari bean bag is a practical and useful accessory for any equipment.
