Lacerta polar scope bracket
The Vixen Polarie is a smart and precisely running camera mount, but precise polar alignment is critical. As polar alignment errors are nearly independend from the focal length, precise polar alignmend is the most important factor.The small bore in the Polarie only allows coarse alignment. And if the original Vixen polar scope is used, the camera has to be removed before causing more complicated setup and unbalancing the system.
The Lacerta OAH-1 polar scope bracket also works with the camera attached to the Polarie.
Mount your camera AND the polar scope, align exactly and begin your exposures!Now deep-sky imaging with longer focal lengths is possible.
