Mounting Rail S2
Usually, a spotting scope is used on a tripod for eliminating shaking (and not having to support the weight by hand).If center of mass is placed to far away from the tilting axis, the spotting scope tips to the front or back.
This mounting rail allows shifting of the spotting scope and thus balancing.
The scope is connected via photo thread, and also the tripod.
For balancing, the upper part of the rail is shifted against the bottom part. If balance is reached, a lever is moved to lock the position.
