Alccd-QHY miniCAM5S - cooled CMOS camera AND autoguider

The ALccd-QHY miniCAM5S is a monochrome CMOS camera. The quantum efficiency is at a very high level of up to 74%! The low pixel size allows high-resolution exposures at lower focal lengths without using a Barlow lens.

The readout noise is at extremely low 2e- RMS! Two-stage TE cooling down to -45 °C below environment!

Moderner sensor of semiconductor manufacturer Micron

At the ALccd-QHY miniCAM5S, sensors of semiconductor manufacturer Micron are used. It is the MT9M034, also with the DigitalClarity® Technology and extremely low power consumption. The pixel size of the ALccd-QHY miniCAM5S is 3.75 µm.

Universal application

Like the ALccd-QHY 5(L)-II cameras, the miniCAM5S-AG has an autoguider port. Therefore, this camera is univerally usable.
