With the 0.6x Focal Reducer and Corrector, Long Perng offers a versatile solution for astrophotography.

The corrector offers very good illumination and correction for sensors up to APS-C format. We recommend the corrector especially for DSLR cameras. But the corrector is also well suitable for CCD cameras with sensors up to 30 mm.

Especially slower refractors with a focal ratio from f7 to f9 will get photographically interesting by using this corrector. f/7 turns to fast f/4.2, f/9 turns to still attractive f/5,4. The exposure time will be reduced to 36%.
