A dew heater replaces the radiated heat without causing turbulence and thus bad seeing, therefore keeps the temperature above the dew point and prevents dew formation.
The economically priced AST Optics are made with quality materials and finishing. An important advantage is the low power consumption.
Due to the RCA plug and 12 V power supply, the heaters are compatible with most popular controllers like Astrozap, Kendrick and Rigel

"hierfür würde ich nur 4 Sterne für das Produkt vergeben, da es für Langzeitbelichtung bei etwas feuchterem Wetter zwar funktionert, aber der Tubus dann sich beschlägt da die Heizmannschette nicht sehr breit ist. Mag auch an dem Metalltubus liegen."
