APM´s 100mm ED Bino is an alternative to simple binoculars who often show collimation problems and to (by far) more expensive japanese binoculars also. It has a high collimation stability and is suitable for nature observation and astronomy also. Moon and planets appear nearly three-dimensional and double stars can be divided with high resolution. Deep Sky objects are a sensation with 2x 100 mm aperture without vignetting.

The lenses have telescope quality
No cheap semi-Apos but true ED Apo design with high quality ED glass. Even at higher magnification, no color fringing appears. 100x is within reach.

Individual adaptation to the observer´s eyes
The eyepieces are inserted into a clearance-free excenter cell. By a simple twist of the cell from outside, the collimation can be set 100% individually to the observer´s eyes. This can be done while observing and takes only a few seconds. The result: a perfectly collimated optical system allowing magnifications up to 100x without double images.

Magnesium body
In order to keep the binocular lightweight, the body is made from Magnesium. Total weight incl. tripod adapter: 7.45 kgs only.

All common 1.25" eyepieces can be used.
Eyepieces are held securely and free of tilting with a ring clamping system. Focusing is done by a simple twist of the eyepieces - as this can be done individually per side, the dioptre compensation is done in this way, too. A generous focal position allows the usage of Nagler, Delos and UWA eyepieces also.

Optimal field illumination by over-dimensioned prisms
100% field without vignetting of 1.25" field stops. Transmission, color correction and contrast are on par with significantly more expensive binoculars.
