TS-Optics Desiccant Silica gel with colour indicator, reusable (150 g)
Silica gel protects your optics and accessories from moisture - optimal for storageSilica Gel by TS is environmentally friendly and reusable as often as you want. It is ideal for storing telescopes, cameras and all kinds of accessories. Its color indicates when re-activating the agent is necessary.
Re-activating the Silica Gel:
When the pearls become more and more colourless, they are saturated with water, so the desiccant must be re-activated. Simply place the pearls in a heat-resistant container, put them in the oven and then slowly heat the oven up to a maximum of 120 °C, but better only 110 °C. When the pearls are back to their orange-pink colour, the desiccant can be used again. This process can be repeated as often as you like, nothing has to be thrown away.Hints: The plastic bag is not heat-resistant, it must not be taken into the oven. And a microwave oven is completely unsuitable, because first of all you cannot set a temperature there and secondly the quick heating up makes the water evaporate suddenly - the pearls burst.
Use of the silica gel:
An air-permeable cloth is best suited. An old sheet or an old cloth bag would be ideal. It is important that the material is air-permeable, otherwise the desiccant cannot develop its effect. Just put the pearls into the bag and close it with a knot.| Material: | Silica gel |

"Das beste Trockenmittel dass ich bisher verwendet habe. Da der Indikator sehr fein reagiert wird eine Sättigung sehr früh angezeigt. Andere wechseln die Farbe oft erst dann wenn die Kapazität erschöpft ist und die Feuchtigkeit bereits ansteigt, das ist hier nicht der Fall. Hier ist das Silicagel noch funktionsfähig obwohl der Indikator bereits das regenerieren empfiehlt. So kann man das Trockenmittel optimal regenerieren bevor die Feuchtigkeit wieder ansteigt :)"

"Ein sehr gutes Trockenmittel. Das beste das sich bisher hatte da der Indikator sehr fein arbeitet. Während andere Vergleichsprodukte erst die Farbe wechseln wenn sie bereits keine ausreichende Teocknungswirkung mehr entwickeln, so reagiert dieser äußerst fein. Man kann daher rechtzeitig reagieren und das Trockenmittel regenerieren."

"Sehr hochwertiges Silicagel. Das beste das ich bisher finden konnte da die Wasseraufnahmemenge groß ist und der Indikator sehr präzise und empfindlich reagiert so hat man eine sehr präzise Kontrolle. :) "
