TS Optics TSSWM9 9 mm UWA Eyepiece 1.25" - one of the most affordable wide angle eyepieces on the market

These ultra wide angle eyepieces alreadily offer an impressive field of view of 66°. Thanks to the comfortable eye relief of 15 mm and the foldable rubber eye cup, the eyepieces are also very well suitable for eyeglass wearers. These eyepieces, also known as "gold line eyepieces", are very popular not only among amateur astronomers.

The TSSWM9mm is a very fine eyepiece for medium magnifications. Anybody who has looked through the small eye-side lens of a Plössl or kellner with comparable focal length appreciates the comfort of the TSWSM 9mm. Instead of a button hole, an eye-side lens of 20 mm diameter is available for you. This 9 mm UWA is a very good planetary eyepiece. The focal length of 9 mm makes the TSSWM9 also a good choice for eyepiece projection in planetary photography.

See nebulae, star clusters and galaxies well: The TS SWM eyepieces feature an effective multi-coating and high transmission. Even fine structures of nebulae can be seen.

Observe planets, moon and sun: Proper workmanship and well placed baffles offer good contrast so that you can view finest rilles on moon or structures on the planets of our solar system.

Eyepiece projection - astrophotography through the TSSWM eyepieces: The TSSWM eyepieces are very slim and fit into almost all eyepiece projection adapters, like the TSPA1 from TS Optics.

The TSSWM are also well suited for digital cameras with fixed lens. Due to the large lens at the eye side, a good illumination is achieved. For adaption, you need the FotoringT2 (see image at left).
