Upgrade your Skywatcher Newtonian with a carbon tube to increase rigidity and reduce weight. For all owners of Skywatcher Newton telescopes we offer this very special service. You can continue to use all parts of your Skywatcher Newtonian. All necessary holes and drillings are available.

The advantages of the TS Carbon Upgrade:

All holes are already present in the carbon tube. You can continue to use all the components of your Newton, from the focuser to the tube clamps and, of course, the main mirror cell. You do not need to drill any new holes.

You get exactly the same focus position as with your Newtonian, so you don´t need to change or even buy new accessories.

The weight of your telescope is reduced considerably, at the same time the stiffness is increased. Twisting, e.g. at the focuser, is a thing of the past.

The focus position is held much better because carbon has a more favourable expansion value than metal. This means that you need to refocus less often during long exposures. Shots will be sharper.
