Celestron T-Adaptor for EdgeHD 8 telescopes

The adaptor is connected to the backside of the tube or the SC thread of the Celestron #825266 0.7x Reducer.

By using this T2 adaptor you can attach your camera in focus of your Edge-HD telescope whilst automatically having the right working distance. Mounting a DSLR camera requires an additional T2 Ring, which is linked in the accessories section.

Working at primary focus of the 8" EHD:

The 8" EdgeHD has got a back focus of 133.35 mm starting from the SC thread. Use the full length of the adaptor to achieve the typical 55 mm working distance.

Using the Celestron 0.7x Reducer #825266:

Screw the reducer to your EHD8 and then attach the adaptor. This reduces the working distance to 105 mm. To achieve the typical 55 mm from the T2 thread, unscrew the rear side of the adaptor.
