GigE Camera for Astronomy with IR Cut Filter

Up to 60 color frames/s
With up to 60 frames/s, this astro CCD camera is ideal for color astrophotography with very fast sequences of image captures. With the downloadable software IC Capture.AS you save them lossless and uncompressed into an AVI file.

Fast visualization of color images
IC Capture.AS also takes over the color interpolation of the raw color data (RAW format) supplied by the CCD camera and thus relieves the processor of the camera. If, on the other hand, the PC must be unloaded, the telescope camera can also take over the color interpolation. In this case, the maximum frame rate is 30 frames/s. Of course, you can also disable color interpolation completely and create the AVI files with images in RAW format.

Sony® Color CCD
The telescope camera DFK 21AG04.AS uses a modern color CCD (ICX098BQ, progressive scan, manufacturer Sony®). It offers a resolution of 640 x 480 pixels at a format of 1/4". Its noise is low even at long exposure times. The high quality of the CCD also allows it to be used in scientific imaging.

IR cut filter
The DFK 21AG04.AS CCD camera is equipped with an IR cut filter that blocks wavelengths above 700nm. In this way, it behaves similarly to the human eye.
