Baader 2" Gray Filter ND 0.9 - Transmission 12.5%

The filter offers medium strong brightness attenuation. Only 1/8 of the light passes the filter, the rest is absorbed. Among other usages, this filter is used for observing double stars, moon or planets with medium-sized instruments. The granulation of the sun might be better visible. But for solar observation a visual solar front filter ND5.0 is necessary. The filter must not be used for solar observation without additional filtering.

The filter is screwed into the 2" filter thread of the eyepiece or the adapter. The filter has the filter thread (female/male) at both sides and thus can be combined with color filters or contrast filters.
