Baader 2" Gray Filter ND 1.8 - Transmission 1.5%

The filter offers very strong brightness attenuation. Only 1/64 of the light passes the filter, the rest is absorbed. Among other usages, this filter is used for observing moon or sun with large apertures. But for solar observation at least an additional photographic solar front filter ND3.8 is necessary. The filter must not be used for solar observation without additional filtering.

The filter is screwed into the 2" filter thread of the eyepiece or the adapter. The filter has the filter thread (female/male) at both sides and thus can be combined with color filters or contrast filters.
