Mono FireWire Camera for Astronomy without IR Cut FilterUp to 60 frames/s
The DMK 21AF618.AS monochrome telescope camera is one of the fastest of its kind with 60 fps. It is ideal for black and white astrophotography with very fast image sequences. With the downloadable software IC Capture.AS you save them lossless and uncompressed into an AVI file.
Monochrome Sony® CCD
The DMK 21AF618.AS astro CCD camera uses the monochrome progressive scan CCD ICX618 from Sony®. At a format of 1/4", it offers a resolution of 640 x 480 pixels. Its noise is low even at long exposure times. Due to its high quality, the ICX618 is also frequently used in industrial image processing.
No compression, no filters
The DMK 21AF618.AS CCD camera uses neither compression nor IR cut filters, color filters or electronic filters. As a result, it ensures unaltered images of the starry sky.
