The Explore Scientific 30 mm wide-angle eyepiece offers an extreme field of view of 82°.Thus you can reach the maximum possible field of view with 2", for an optimal overview with high contrast at the same time. Many large star clusters become visible in their full extent.

A secure fit in the focuser:

The barrel tapers at the upper end. This always guarantees a secure fit. The advantage to a locking groove is that this eyepiece cannot get caught with compression rings. Nevertheless, tilting is impossible.
