Close coupled mount provides optimal image quality by maintaining a minimum distance between Edge HD corrector optics and Lepus telecompressor lens grouping.

Increases the telescope´s speed from f/10 to f/6.2 thus reducing the necessary exposure times to 38% of the f/10 value.

The back-focus distance (ring dovetail contact surface) to the camera sensor is 105 mm. We offer under "Recommended accessories" adapters to T2 (42x0.75 mm) or M48 (2" filter thread). These adapters needs 17 mm space. So the back-focus from the connection thread of the adapter is 88 mm.
