TS 12" f/5 parabolic primary mirror for do-it-yourself construction of Newtonian telescopes

This parabolic primary mirror satisfies with a particularly smooth and accurately finished surface. We recommend this mirror especially for the self-construction of a high-quality Newtonian telescope, but also for upgrading an existing telescope. The image produced by this mirror is above standard. We guarantee an image which is better than diffraction limited.

BK7 mirror substrate:

This optical quality glass is characterized by homogeneity, it warps less than cheaper materials during cooling without costing exorbitantly more.

If you want to have your mirror checked directly by a tester of your choice, we will gladly provide you with our recommendation.

Mirror coating:

Our regular mirrors have 94% reflectivity, due to enhanced coating. This mirror has a HILUX coating from Orion UK, which even has a reflectivity of 97%. The image becomes brighter.
