This adapter is used to lock an internal T2 thread to an external T2 thread, thus fixing both the distance and the orientation.

Screw the counter ring in front of the T2 internal thread over the T2 external thread, then you can use it to lock the camera or other accessories in the desired position.

You can also use the ring to fine-tune the distance by turning the thread and then preventing further turning by locking it.

The counter ring in combination with the Baader adapters BA1508025 and 2958110 offers you a precisely variable T2 extension for fine tuning.
