Baader Adapter from T2 (inside) to C-Mount (outside), with integrated Filter Holder

The adapter fits all cameras with C-Mount connection, such as cameras from The Imaging Source. It allows the rotatable connection of these cameras to lenses and telescopes with T2 thread.

With three setting screws, the T2 thread insert can be rotated by 360°.

Function of the IR cut filter:

All optical systems using lenses are not corrected for infrared light (longer wavelength thatn red light). The camera sensor, however, is still sensitive in this spectral area. This results is image degrading by colour fringes. An IR cut filter blocks out these wavelengths and leads to a proper picture.
