Orion England offers powerful Newton astrographs with high light sensitivity. The field correction is achieved with a Wynne Korrektor . This corrector has a camera-sided M85x1 male thread. Starting from this male thread you have 79mm backfocus available.

For this adapter TS-Optics provides an adaptation to the popular M68x1 Zeiss Level thread system. The optical length length of the adapter is only 5mm. This is exactly the length of the M68 inner thread. Starting from this thread, you have 74mm backfocus to the optimal sensor position for the Orion-UK Wynne corrector.

Additional connections to other common threads:

M68x1 male thread .. With the adapter M68a-M68a you can transform a female thread into a male thread. Because the adapter inserts completely, the backfocus remains unchanged.

M48x0,75 male thread .. With the adapter M68a-M48a you transform a M68 female thread into a M48x0,75 male thread. The optical path of the adapter is 1mm, the backfocus to the M48x0,75 connection thread to the ideal sensor position is 73mm.

2" receptacle .. Using the adapter TSM68-2inch you can adapt to 2" and as a result use the Wynne corrector for visual observation. The backfocus from the 2" receptacle to the camera is 57mm. This means you can use all customary cameras. With two spacer rings M68Abstimm1 you reduce the distance to 55mm - ideal for adaptations to DSLR cameras.
