Skywatcher Explorer-130P AZ SynScan GoTo - Newtonian telescope 130/650 mm on single-arm fork mount
The Skywatcher Explorer-130P with its sharp parabolic optics offers a very good performance for the observation of the moon and planets. The high speed and the relatively large aperture of 130 mm also offer a fascinating view of large star clusters, nebulae and even distant galaxies. The light collecting surface is 30% larger than that of a 114 mm telescope, resulting in a brighter image.

Thanks to the powerful GoTo mount, even beginners can enjoy successful observations of these celestial objects from the very first night.

Some voices:

"Its sharp optics and relatively small central obstruction ensures that it delivers bright, diffraction-limited images... can view a true field in excess of 2°... will give you memorable views of the Moon and bright planets... In short, it´s a great all-rounder in its class" Ade Ashford, www.scopetest.com

"I was most impressed by the views revealed by the ´scope during tests... Despite a phase of nearly 96 percent, the waxing gibbous Moon revealed a seemingly inexhaustible amount of fine detail" Astronomy Now Magazine

The advantages of the Skywatcher Explorer-130P:
powerful parabolic optics with short focal length - an all-rounder
high speed and sharpness, large true field of view
powerful GoTo mount with tracking and over 42,900 objects in the database
operating instructions

The Synscan AZ Goto mount:
Thanks to the stable and easy to use GoTo mount, successful observations can be made in the first night. Explore the starry sky at the touch of a button. Quiet and precise motors move the telescope exactly to the target object. Even an inexperienced observer is familiar with all functions in no time at all, also thanks to the operating instructions.
more than 42,900 objects in the database
tracking in solar, stellar or lunar speed
simple calibration of the mount on one or two stars
positioning accuracy up to 10 arc minutes
swivel speeds: 1x, 2x, 16x, 32x, 64x, 128x, 400x, 500x, 600x and 800x
PC-compatible - can be used with any established planetarium software
12 V power supply

Important note about power supply: To avoid loss of warranty, please use only the power supplies and mobile supplies recommended by us. Especially simple car batteries or sealed lead-acid batteries can lead to an under-supply, which can then damage the sensitive electronics of the mount. Operating a Skywatcher GoTo mount with a non-proprietary power supply not recommended by us is at your own risk. Thank you for your understanding.
