12 V Power Tank with 17 Ah - the mobile power supply
12 V connection for on the go with many practical additional functions - that is the Powertank 17 Ah. At the same time, the Power Tank is compact and convenient. 17 Ah are sufficient to, for example, operate a Goto mount for 1-2 nights. Especially practical are also the lamps. A very strong white light for assembly, when dark adaptation is no longer important, and a detachable red light for eye-friendly work at night make the Powertank 17 Ah an ideal companion for the night.

Thanks to the lead gel battery, the Power Tank can also be stored lying down, nothing leaks out.

Indication charging situation
Four different LED lights always let you know how your Power Tank is doing. When the green light is on, it is ready for use. When the yellow light is on, it needs power to charge. With a power adapter (included), you can recharge your Power Tank at any electrical outlet. Since it tells you when it needs to be charged, you avoid deep discharge and you´ll have years of enjoyment from your mobile power station.

Practice Tip from Telescope-Service:
Never drain the battery completely. Switch off the mount before doing so. This will also protect your mount from overvoltage.
Do not store the battery in an empty state.
Do not leave the battery at the charging station for too long, but switch off the charger as soon as the battery is charged.

"Gute Verarbeitung, recht robust gebaut, betreibt mit 12V/5V + Verteiler Laptop, Kamera und EQ3GT, 5V Heizmanschette u.a. und hält locker eine Nacht durch. Rechtfertigt als Gesamtpaket den Preis. Die integrierte Lampe ist brauchbar für den Weg, empfehle am Platz eine Stirnlampe, die gibts auch mit Rotlicht. , das Radio ein nettes Gimmick... Bin zufrieden!"

"Nutze den Tank für meine HEQ-5 sowie einen Laptop. Konnte bisher noch keine Langzeitbeobachtung machen, aber die Stromversorgung ist stabil und der Tank macht einen wertigen Eindruck. Der Akku war schon aufgeladen, so dass ich gleich loslegen konnte. Bin nicht so der Bastel-Freak,daher finde ich die Stromversorgung mit dem Tank die beste Lösung, wenn man in der freien Natur unterwegs ist. Wirklich sehr einfach in der Handhabung und man muss nur drauf achten, dass man den Akku nicht ganz leer saugt. Bin mit einem 8er Batteriepack damals gestartet und meine *** krepelte nur vor sich hin. Jetzt läuft sie endlich wie geschmiert :)"

"Funktionell mit mehren Anschlüssen. Beiliegendes Ladenetzteil halte ich mit 0.8A für unterdimensioniert. Hier wären sicher >= 2A angebracht. "
