Baader SkySurfer III - LED Red Dot Finder and Solar Finder
A good red dot finder is more than a replacement for a 6x30 finder scope and can also be a good complement to large optical finder scopes. The Baader Skysurfer III is characterized by additional features:
Larger clear aperture of 30 mm in opposite to the 20 mm of the Starpointer finder
Dew caps at both ends to prevent fogging
The red light dot is dimmable
Anti-reflective coating, the brightness of the night sky and its objects is barely reduced
The two-part body serves as solar finder. If the shadow of the front part covers the entire front ring of the back part, the sun is centered
Usable at almost any telescope, thanks to the all-round adapters which are supplied with the finder
can be used even as DSLR finder with an optional adapter (see accessory recommendations)

Hat eine gute Grösse und macht trotz Plastik einen soliden Eindruck.
Ist der Leuchtpunkt in der niedrigsten Einstellung noch zu hell, stelle ich ihn aus und an.
Die Justage bleibt stabil und er funktioniert auch als Sonnensucher. Wobei letzteres nicht so komfortabel von statten geht, aber es geht.

"Der Sucher an sich arbeitet wie zu erwarten. Nachteilig empfinde ich, dass sich der Leuchtpunkt nicht schwach genug einstellen lässt. Selbst auf niedrigster Einstellung ist er mir zu hell. Dazu kommt das genau der Fuß den ich für den Teleskopanbau benötigte auseinander ging, weil der Schwalbenschwanz auf dem Fuß (beides Plastik) nur geklebt ist und das wahrscheinlich schlecht."
