The Report 242 is built for heavy loads. Even at full extension length, the tripod still retains its favorable stiff characteristics.

By using a center column, additional convenient height adjustment is achieved. The center column is made of precision-drawn light alloy tubing (diameter 25 mm) and is precision-fitted. Thus, tilting is not possible.

The integrated panorama head with bubble level allows precise leveling of the tilt head, even when the tripod itself is tilted. Tilts of up to 30° can thus be compensated. This feature is especially useful when working on uneven terrain, allowing you to make precise horizontal and vertical pans.
The center column and the panorama head are clamped by a clamping lever.
