Fast travel apo for astrophotography and observation with 80 mm aperture

The triplet objective with 80 mm aperture and 480 mm focal length convinces with a very good chromatic correction due to the FPL53 APO element. It is one of the best 80 mm Apo lenses in the range of Teleskop-Service.

The 3-element 0.8x image field corrector is designed for 80mm f/6 triplet apos and brings full correction up to full frame. The corrector is screwed to the 2.5" rack and pinion focuser to prevent tilting. The working distance from the M48 thread is 55 mm, which simplifies the adaptation of astro cameras. A 2" filter thread is also integrated in the camera adapter.

The visual use - spotting scope and astronomical travel telescope

Although the apo is optimized for astrophotography, it can also be used visually very well. Simply unscrew the corrector and insert the 2" receptacle. Now you can observe through the telescope with 1.25" or 2" star diagonal or Amici prisms and magnify up to about 200x with very high contrast.
