TS City light filter for increasing contrast of deep sky objects

The city light filter lets a large part of the light spectrum through, only where the light pollution from artificial lighting is stronger, the light transmission is reduced. This raises the contrast in astrophotography. Gas nebulae, but also the Milky Way become more prominent.

In contrast to classic broadband or narrowband nebula filters, which require a significant extension of the exposure time, the light pollution filter only requires a slight extension of the exposure time. Even astrophotography with a photo tripod (without tracking) becomes possible. But in return, the contrast effect is also lighter.
