ZWO Sony NEX adapter to T2
The adapter can be used to connect Sony NEX lenses to ASI cameras with small sensor formats such as ASI1600, ASI294, ASI183, ASI174, ASI432 and ASI585.

The camera must have a T2 male thread and 6.5 mm flange focal distance, then the lens fits perfectly with the adapter. This is fulfilled with almost all ZWO cameras with a detachable black 2" front ring with continuous female T2 thread. Cameras with a larger flange focal distance, for example 12.5 mm for the uncooled ones with pure T2 female thread, do not allow focusing to infinity, as the NEX lenses are designed for 18 mm flange focal distance!

Only purely mechanical lenses are supported; the adapter is not compatible with automatic lenses, as these are often focused electrically despite a focusing ring.
Lens side connector:Sony NEX bayonet, female, to accept Sony NEX lenses
connection on camera side:T2 thread fits many cameras from ZWO, e.g. ASI1600, ASI294, ASI533, ASI183, ASI174, ASI432, ASI585, ASI482 and ASI485
Optical length of the adapter:11.5 mm
Necessary flange focal distance of the camera:6.5 mm

Question:
The lens is loose in the adapter, what should I do??

Answer from Teleskop-Service:
There is a leaf spring on the bayonet of the adapter, carefully bend it open with a flat pair of pliers or tweezers, this will better lock the bayonet of the lens and the lens will sit tighter.
