This adapter from the M48 thread (2" filter thread) to the EOS bayonet allows a short adaptation from the M48 filter thread without the bottleneck T2. This improves the illumination and makes the adaptation to correctors with M48 thread possible.

The T-Ring adapter fits for:

All CANON EOS (D)SLR cameras

The T-Ring is suitable among others for:

Skywatcher field flatteners and reducers for ED refractors (SKFlat80, SKFlat100, SKFlat120)

Skywatcher Coma Corrector (Komakorrf4)

TS-, Tele-Vue-, Riccardi- and other flatteners and correctors

Direct 2" connection with full aperture without T2 bottleneck:

With the 2" extension sleeve TSVF230 you can adapt the T-ring directly to a plug-in sleeve with 2" without the bottleneck over T2. Of course, the TSVF230 again offers the 2" filter thread on the bottom side.
This allows you to attach your DSLR camera directly to 2" ports and have full illumination even for full frame cameras. You will find the 2" extension sleeve below under "recommended accessories".

A special feature: the mount for unmounted filters

The adapter also allows to mount unmounted filters up to 2mm thickness and a diameter between 49 and 54mm.

Remove the inner ring with the M48 thread by loosening the 3 hexagon socket screws. A metric wrench with the width across flats of 1.5mm is required.

Carefully insert and center the filter.

Then place the inner ring on the filter and fix it with the side screws. Due to the tapered side wall, the ring tightens automatically. Do not overtighten the side screws!

Please consider that the filter thickness is added to the effective length of the adapter.

Question:
The M48 internal thread is jammed, what should I do??

We have checked the internal thread, it is fine and very precisely cut. The three clamping screws on the side of the adapter exert pressure on the female thread adapter. This can cause the adapter to deform slightly. Loosen the three screws a little, then the adapter will fit well over the connection thread.
