ZWO ASI482MC Color Astro Camera with 2MP Backlit Sony Sensor
The ASI482 is a state-of-the-art color camera for lunar and planetary photography. With the moderately large pixel size of 5.8 µm it is also suitable for telescopes with the focal ratio of f/8 or fainter. The ASI482 is a very nice camera for the upscale entry into astrophotography. The fast and yet quite large sensor also offers good results when photographing star clusters, nebulae and galaxies. Already after a few seconds you have a result.

Very high sensitivity for short exposure times
One advantage of the back-illuminated CMOS sensor is lower readout noise and improved sensitivity. In particular, Sony uses STARVIS? technology in the IMX482 sensor, which provides excellent low-light visibility. You can achieve very high sensitivity in astrophotography and realize high image quality even in visible light and near infrared.

Combined with the wide field of view offered by the large sensor format, the ASI482MC is not only ideal for solar, lunar and planetary imaging as well as EAA (Electronically Assisted Astronomy), but can also be used as a live streaming camera or as an all-sky camera for observing or monitoring weather conditions, and of course for imaging faint nebulae, star clusters and galaxies.

The HGG mode:
The camera has a built-in HCG mode that can effectively reduce readout noise at high gain and maintain the same wide dynamic range you would expect at low gain. When the gain is 80, the HCG mode automatically turns on. This results in readout noise as low as 1.5e- while the dynamic range can still reach nearly 12 f-stops.

Question:
How to mount the camera on a tripod or dovetail bar?

Answer from Teleskop-Service:
In the center of the back of the body, there is a female 1.25" photo thread. This allows you to mount the camera on a tripod or dovetail bar (possibly via an L-bracket for binoculars):
