William Optics 2.0x Glass Path Corrector for the Binoviewer
The glass path of a binoviewer has to be compensated when used with instruments with short focus position, like Newtonians. Otherways distant objects cannot be focused.The corrector is simply screwed into the William Optics binoviewer. The effective magnification will increase by the factor of 2. This glass path corrector saves about 100 mm optical way, so focus position is almost the same as before using the binoviewer.

"Der William Wegeausgleich 2x (und auch der 1.6x) ist eine gute Ergänzung zum William Binoansatz. Er verdoppet die Vergrößerung ohne die Abbildung merklich zu verschlechtern. Auch sehr gut für Teleskope mit geringem Backfokus, um überhaupt mit dem Binoansatz in den Fokus zu kommen. Für mein Newtonteleskop genügt der 2x Wegeausgleich allerdings nicht."
