TS Camera Holder for astronomical Mounts

The adapter allows easy and stable installation of your camera or spotting scope on your astronomical mount. With this you can for example take very good astrophotos with your camera and a wide angle or moderate telephoto lens without much effort. You simply use the automatic tracking of your mount or even, if available, the automatic positioning of the object in the sky.

The adapter fits all mounts with the EQ5 style quick coupling, such as:

Skywatcher EQ3, EQM35, EQ5, H-EQ5, AZ-EQ5

Celestron Advanced VX, CG4, CG5

iOptron iEQ30 and aimilar ones

Vixen Advanced Polaris, Sphinx, GP and similar ones

With the PS3-V adapter, you can even connect the dovetail to mounts with Losmandy style clamp.

The slotted hole and internal threads make the dovetail bar particularly versatile.]

If you use a long telephoto lens, you can use the long hole of the bar or the threads for adjustable guide tube rings. This way the whole load is not distributed on only one thread.

If you rotate the camera by 90°, you can attach a small guide scope to the side and thus monitor the tracking of the mount. The M6 female threads are well suited for this. Suitable dovetail clamps and finder shoes for mini guide scopes are linked.
