The easily transportable Sky-Watcher HERITAGE Skymax127 (VIRTUOSO GTi) has been designed to be controlled wirelessly with your smartphone or tablet, using the free SynScan App for iOS or Android. The Virtuoso GTi mount, with its built-in WiFi module, creates its very own Wi-Fi network, so the mount can be used anywhere, without any reliance on other WiFi or mobile networks. After entering your coordinates into the app and following a simple alignment procedure, you are ready to explore the universe using the app´s intuitive touchscreen menu.

The Virtuoso GTi and SynScan App provides full computerised GO-TO control, allowing the telescope to be automatically slewed to any one of the objects in the app´s extensive database of 10,000+ celestial objects. Incorporates Sky-Watcher´s Freedom-Find patented Dual-Encoder Technology, which allows the telescope to be moved manually in either axis without the mount losing its positional information. This gives the user enormous freedom, convenience and flexibility during observational sessions.

Quality optics with high contrast
The compact but powerful Skymax 127 Maksutov-Cassegrain telescope is ideal for observing double stars and the surface detail of the Moon and bright planets. Its high-resolution, long focal length optical system is multi-coated to maximise contrast and image sharpness.

Compact tube on compact mount
The telescope with its short tube is designed for convenient use on a table, but additionally has a standard 3/8" photo thread at the bottom to use it on an already existing tripod. However, you can also optionally use for example the Sky-Watcher AZ5 stainless steel tripod (No. 20316). Both parts of the telescope can also be used separately. For example, you can also use the telescope tube with the dovetail bar on an equatorial mount or you can attach another telescope to the Virtuoso mount.

Transportable and easy to use
This telescope is therefore particularly well suited for travel. It is also very suitable for youth groups or at school, for example, with its simple operation and high performance. The Heritage Skymax127 Virtuoso GTi is a telescope that can be used on many occasions.

To avoid loss of warranty, please use only the power supplies and mobile supplies recommended by us. Especially simple car batteries or sealed lead-acid batteries can lead to an under-supply, which can then damage the sensitive electronics of the mount.
