Small helper with big effect: The polar finder illumination
The polar finder illumination facilitates the alignment of the equatorial mount with a polar finder scope immensely. So that you can orient yourself faster and start observing.

Fits to different Omegon mounts: MiniTrack LX 2 + 3 and EQ


The red, battery-powered LED lamp illuminates the scope, making the engraved guide lines and scales visible, which are otherwise difficult to see at night. Now you can conveniently and accurately align the telescope with Polaris. Especially for astrophotography the exact polar alignment is an advantage.

The illumination is simply attached to the front of the polar finder scope and fits MiniTrack LX2+3 and EQ mounts. The strength of the illumination is continuously adjustable. The batteries are not included, but can be bought at TS (see accessories section) and inserted easily.

"Sehr gute Verarbeitung. Bei Verwendung an Vixen GP muß der O-Ring durch einen 1,5mm O-Ring oder die Beleuchtung mit etwas Montagekleber fixiert werden.Die Bohrung in der GP ist minimal größer wie der Durchmesser der Polsucherbeleuchtung. Stellt aber kein großes P|roblem dar!"
