Filament crosshair eyepiece with adjustable double filament: Perfect for Off Axis Guiders
The Omegon crosshair eyepiece is perfect for tracking astrophotography in off-axis guiders or guiding telescopes. An illuminated and extremely fine double filament makes it easy for you to track the guide star. Instead of obscuring the star, you can hold it exactly at the desired position. Deviations are thus noticed immediately and you can react in time.

The guiding star does not shine in the center, but at the edge of the field of view? Especially with an off axis guider a tricky thing. Moving the field of view is not possible. But with this eyepiece, however, you move the filament in any direction you want.

Dimmable LED illumination with battery
The double thread can be illuminated red with the integrated LED light. The intensity is dimmable via a rotary switch on the side. To see both the star and the crosshair in the correct sharpness, there is a rotatable diopter compensation at the eyepiece.

9 mm Plössl design
The 9 mm Plössl eyepiece offers a fairly high magnification. Good for quick response when the guide star deviates.

The four-lens design provides a clear and sharp image. Multi-coating provides high transparency so you can see faint guide stars without problems.

Not just for tracking
Discover other uses for your crosshair eyepiece. These eyepieces are also often used for determining fields of view, for adjusting a mount or for position angles of double stars.
