TS M48 T-Ring, short, for Sony E/NEX mount
This M48 adapter allows the connection of cameras with the E mount to the M48 thread (M48x0.75). Due to the short design (18 mm camera, 8.5 mm T-ring), adaptations with filter drawers or off-axis guiders become possible for the first time. The connection to camera lenses with transition adapters is also no problem.

In addition, the illumination is significantly improved by the short design of the adapter. Thus, in combination with the TSVF230 extension tube, this adapter is perfectly suited for the connection to a 2" receptacle and even illuminates full frame format, such as the SONY Alpha 7 camera.
The adapter fits among others: Sony NEX 3 - NEX7, A3000, A5000, A6000, A7, α-cameras with E-mount interchangeable lenses.
The flange focal distance of the Sony A7, A7R and A7S cameras is 18 mm

Use of Canon EOS lenses on Sony cameras
This adapter also allows Canon EOS lenses to be used on Sony Alpha cameras. The working distance of the lens is 44.5 mm (bayonet to sensor). For the transition you need:
TSEOS-M48S ... Adapter with Canon EOS mount - female - height 10 mm
TSVF208 ... M48 extension tube - height 8 mm
M48SonyE ... TS Wide T-Ring with M48 connection - height 8.5 mm

This allows you to focus EOS lenses. The transition is mechanical only. Autofocus signals or aperture settings are not transferred.
Connection lens side:M48 female thread
Connection camera side:Sony Nex / E-mount
Effective height of the adapter:8.5 mm
1x T-Ring

Question:
What is the flange focal distance?

Answer from Teleskop-Service:
The flange focal distance describes the distance from the mount of the camera to the position of the sensor. System cameras usually have a flange focal distance between 18-20 mm, SLR cameras have a flange focal distance of 44-45 mm.
