The new compact next generation German mount from iOptron - the GEM28! Like its predecessors, the GEM28 was designed with mobility in mind. Weighing only 4.5 kg, it can carry up to 12.7 kg of payload.

A high-resolution optical encoder with real-time PEC in right ascension provides accurate tracking with PE <0.3 arcsec RMS. This, combined with the iPolar system´s accurate on-boarding, eliminates the need for an autoguider to reach point-like stars, even during long exposures.

The GEM28 is equipped with the latest advanced GOTONOVA® GOTO technology

This makes it one of the most powerful and accurate GOTO mounts on the market. The library of 212,000 entries ensures that you will never run out of objects to see or image. The Go2Nova® handheld controller is intuitive to use and its large 4-line LCD screen simplifies telescope setup and object finding.

iPolar - electronic polar finder

The GEM28A mount features an integrated electronic polar finder scope, called iPolar. This polar finder ensures accurate alignment of a telescope.

Tripod Connection:
