This short M48 adapter (2" filter thread) to Nikon offers an optimal adaption to M48 without the T2 bottleneck, thus improving the field illumination especially with full-format DSLR cameras.

2" connection to the telescope with full clear aperture without T2 bottleneck

With the 2" extension tube TSVF230 you can adapt the T-Ring directly to a 2" receptacle without the bottleneck over T2. Of course, the TSVF230 again offers the 2" filter thread on the bottom side.
