Bresser StarTracker Mount for Astrophotography
The Bresser StarTracker astrophoto mount PM-100 is the ideal base for mobile astrophotography. With the mounting impressive pictures of the night sky are also possible with longer exposure times. The stars remain exactly point-like, because the precise stepper motor tracking exactly compensates the rotation of the earth.

Tripod connection of the PM-100:
Those who already have a stable photo tripod with video tilt head can use this BRESSER StarTracker astrophoto mount directly with the 1/4" & 3/8" photo thread holes. The pole height (latitude) is adjusted by the video tilt head. However, we also offer a precise latitude adjustment for the PM-100.

Exact set-up of the PM-100
After setting up the light and compact photo mount, simply set the approximate latitude (pole height) on the video tilt head and aim for the pole star with the help of the pole finder tunnel. For longer focal lengths or longer exposure times, we recommend the optional pole finder. This allows a very precise adjustment of the mount.

Attaching the camera to the PM-100
A stable ball head with quick coupling is included in the scope of delivery. With the ball head, the camera can be aligned and locked at any time to any sky section. As soon as the tracking motor is switched on, the long time exposure can be started immediately. This all takes less than 5 minutes. You can use all cameras with 1/4" photo thread.

Ich hatte mir die PM-100 im Januar gekauft und bin jetzt erst dazu gekommen diese zu testen (Sternfeld im Löwen); Ich muss sagen, ich bin von der kleinen Montierung sehr beeindruckt; die Handhabung ist super einfach, was aber nicht heißt, dass man die Basics der Astrofotografie ausser acht lassen kann: Waage ausrichten und mit Kompass Nordausrichtung vornehmen; das Einstellen des Polarsterns geht sehr leicht von der Hand, wobei hier ein paar Tipps von mir dazu helfen mögen:
- entgegen der Beschreibung, VOR der Einnordung die Kamera mit Objektiv schon aufsetzen
- habe mit 135mm Brennweite mit Nikon D7000 fotografiert (hier muß die Ausrichtung auf den Polarstern schon sehr genau sein)
- Das peephole eignet sich nicht zur Einnordung, wenn man "größere" Brennweiten benutzt
- daher ist der optionale Polsucher ein "muss"
- ebenso die Polhöhenwiege zum Ausrichten
- nach dem Ausrichten sollte man den Polsucher entfernen, denn je nach dem, auf welches Objekt man die Kamera ausrichten möchte, ist er schlicht im Weg
FAZIT: das Teil hat einen festen Platz in meiner Fotoreisetasche, leicht, schnell aufgebaut; einfach genial
