Counterweights made of stainless V2A steel
The counterweights are made by Baader for, among others, mounts of 10Micron. The counterweights are made of V2A stainless steel.Stainless steel is always somewhat rough on the surface, but the surface remains the same, does not need to be painted or coated and can withstand scratches and dents without becoming unsightly. With steel weights, the thread on the fixing screw often rust after some time, especially if the mount remains outdoors. A weight made of V2A steel throughout cannot age or rust even in such sensitive places.
