MGBoxV2 Meteostation - USB Weather Station
The MGBoxV2 is a further development of the original MGBox, based on many customer feedback. For example, a powerful processor is used for more resources. The LEDs are now red so they don´t dazzle during the night. The GPS module is now restartable. What has remained of course are the many advantages of the MGBox, such as:
Standalone operation and computer operation possible
Can be connected directly to the GPS port of the 10Micron mount
Fully ASCOM compatible
Delivery in a compact housing


Some uses:
more accurate tracking (atmospheric refraction)
Warning that lenses may thaw and should be heated
Remote operation - if the humidity rises rapidly, rain could be a threat
