Starlight Xpress SX Spectrograph with integrated LodestarX2 Autoguider

This compact box, weighing just 1.2 kilograms, houses a grating spectrograph with slit, autoguider and calibration lamp!

The compact dimension is achieved by a special concave curvature of the grid. The Lodestar X2 camera from Starlight Xpress is already integrated as an autoguider, as is an argon neon lamp that allows you to calibrate your spectrum. The lamp is powered by a 9 V battery.

The spectrograph is connected to the telescope and the camera for recording the spectrum via a T2 thread. Starlight Xpress recommends the Trius SX-694 camera.

The length of the spectrum is 31 millimetres for 340 to 900 nanometres wavelength (resolution factor over 2000).
