Lenthem Drying Cabinet for the storage of sensitive accessories

Everyone who has an observatory or stores his equipment in the apartment or garage knows the problem. The accessories get dusty or even worse, moisture is deposited. Cooled astro cameras start to freeze and eyepieces slowly get a light film that has to be cleaned laboriously. In the worst case, fungal attack and corrosion can occur in optical and electronic components.

Your valuable accessories (eyepieces, lenses, cameras, etc.) will be stored at a controlled lower humidity. This is ensured by the drying cabinets. It is possible to set a specific target humidity of, for example, 40% for the interior.

Unlike refrigerators, drying cabinets are not temperature-sensitive. They can also be operated at sub-zero temperatures. Thus the operation in an observatory is also possible.

Note: It is not possible to set a specific temperature and the target humidity can only be lower than the ambient value. The use as a wine climate chamber, cigar humidor and the like is therefore not possible.
