Artesky Parallelogram Mount for Binoculars, Spotting Scopes and Telescopes

Large binoculars or spotting scopes need a tripod because they are too large and too heavy. The picture would wobble all the time. One solution is an azimuthal mount or photo tripod. With it you can observe the horizon quite well, but with swings upwards you get problems, because the binoculars are no longer in balance, or you bump into the mount.

The Artesky parallogram mount has been developed for astronomical use and allows a free swivel in all directions. When observing upwards, the tripod is no longer in the way. The special advantage is the absolute balance, no matter in which direction the instrument points. Release the binoculars and it will maintain its orientation. The sliding counterweight allows you to achieve the perfect weight balance.

Due to the parallel structure, the observation height can be adapted to the observer. The object remains in the field of view of the instrument. This also allows observations in groups.

Due to the 3/8" female thread, the mount fits to to all stable photo tripods and also to many tripods for astronomical mounts. In the accessories section you will find a few recommendations.

The binocular, spotting scope or telescope is simply attached with the 1/4" or 3/8" thread. You can also screw a dovetail clamp to the 1/4" thread. Suitable clamps are linked in the accessories area.
